Investition in our Society´s Future

The promotion of education, schooling, science and research ist one of the most manifold fields of our work. We´re not only funding high-capacity students, but also take care for those, who tend to fall out of the established educational systems. We´re not only proud of the great achievements of some of our scholarship holders, but also honour those, who´s strengths are more in the field of social responsibility and team spirit.

Due to our founders´ historical family backgrounds, our work is specifically geared towards the city of Schorndorf and the region of Saxonian Upper Lusatia.

Please note: According to German law we are

• not working internationally - just in Germany
• not supporting individuals - just organisations or institutions

Only exception to this rule is the international  Johann-Philipp-Palm-Award for Freedom of Speech and the Press.

There is no entitlement to the right of support by the Palm-Foundation. The Board´s decision about the support of a project or organisation is final.
